i havent been able to make any new drawings. life sucks when u need money and don't get it. :( oh well. right now im working on a couple more drawings, but i just caught a cold and i'm trying to get through some other situations that i don't feel like writing right now.

wowww ur only 13 an yet u have mad skill.. i would die to be able to draw like you! im more of a make random things out of objects lying around an take photos girl myself but woah you are very talented !

no problem. ure art is the basic foundation for many anime artists like myself. it help s them get a head start in what they want to draw and especially helped me when i relied a lot on the book.

yea i know whatcha mean :nod: can be QUITE frustrating >.> im going into realism now to improve my style a bit and its SO hard T_T well for me anyway XD i was never good at drawing realsitic people >.<;; but enough of my rambling :shakefist: its good to practice ALOT (like you haven't heard it before) and try reference drawing. :nod: it helps :D

well right now im doing still lifes. they kinda help with shading techniques. and im also trying to find other things to help my drawing.

oh yes. :nod: still lifes help with that ALOT. thats a really good idea im pretty good at still lifes but for somereason my other friends who take art don't like them O__o i mean they aren't exactly exciting but they're not that hard >.< what i do also is i find artist's photos in the photography section here and i use them to do a reference drawing :nod: thats the best way to get started to see where the shadows and highlights go ^^; and sometimes do a pose in the mirror that your trying to draw and copy it. >.< it works for me sometimes. other times i just can't draw a thing. XD
